Why People Come to NSUC

Welcome Web Visitors and Potential Newcomers

Thank you for your interest in North Shore Unitarian Church (NSUC). We’d like to share our enthusiasm for our church with you. In time, you may come to feel like so many of us—that our lives are made richer and more whole for being a part of this community.

Why people first come…

People typically first visit NSUC for spiritual reasons. Adults may feel a “spiritual void” in their lives, and are attracted by our open-minded approach that encourages and facilitates individual spiritual exploration and growth. Parents may wish to expose their children to a variety of religious perspectives and be assisted in developing a spiritual awareness.

Why people return...

People return to our church usually because of the spiritual and intellectual stimulation they experience here, as well as the people they meet. They enjoy their new community of friends, and the opportunity to celebrate common values.

These findings are consistent with the congregation’s recent assessment of its strengths, which include:

If these strengths resonate with you, visit one of our services, held every Sunday at 10:30 am. Afterwards get to know us better while enjoying coffee or homemade soup.
